Quinoa Bowl with Avocado Dump Ranch

This Quinoa Bowl with Avocado Dump Ranch is so simple to make and is a real crowd pleaser. With just a few quality ingredients you’ll have an amazing meal in no time at all.

To make this Avocado Dump Ranch all you have to do is make our signature Dump Ranch and blend in one avocado. If you haven’t tried this version, you’re missing out!

Sometimes making quinoa is intimidating, yet to make perfect quinoa all you have to do is follow a few simple instructions. Quinoa has a bitter flavor so if you don’t rinse it well in a mesh strainer before cooking it won’t taste very good. Another great tip is in place of water,  use chicken broth. It will add a great flavor to your quinoa. Here is the basic recipe to make perfect quinoa!

  1. The ratio is 1 cup of uncooked quinoa to 2 cups of liquid
  2. In a 2-quart pan, bring water or chicken stock to a boil.
  3. Add the quinoa, stir, and reduce the heat to a low simmer.
  4. Cover the pan and cook for 20 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed.
  5. Fluff the quinoa with a fork.
  6. Serve.

Now to make, just assemble any ingredients you like to make the Quinoa Bowl unique to you!

The trick to making a perfect ranch drizzle without buying a squeeze bottle is to use a sandwich bag.  Just cut the corner to make it easy for squeezing. The bonus is easy clean up too!

We like to serve it family style. Not all of our kids like all the ingredients we put on our salad, so this way they can pick and choose what toppings they like. We hope you like this Quinoa Bowl with Avocado Dump Ranch as much as we do!
