Grilled Salad

This whole meal, including the lettuce was grilled. We were skeptical at first until we ate this salad. Who would think charred lettuce would be good? Yet it was! This will definitely be on repeat, it would be fun to serve at a luncheon with friends. The lettuce and vegetables were drizzled with olive oil, salt and pepper before we placed them on the grill. Then we served it on a large platter and everyone just took the lettuce and veggies they wanted. Top it with a creamy dressing or we made a balsamic vinaigrette. Made with 3/4 cup balsamic vinegar, 1/4 cup EVOO, and salt/pepper to taste. Now go grill that lettuce and tell us what you think!
