Pear Salad with Warm Vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • spinach
  • pears sliced
  • grilled chicken cubed
  • bacon chopped
  • sliced almonds toasted

Instructions

To toast sliced almonds:

  1. Place raw sliced almonds in a dry skillet, cook over med-high heat stirring constantly until the almonds reach a golden brown.

Recipe Notes

Dressing Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons bacon grease
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons light olive oil
  • 1 date

Directions:

  1. Combine above ingredients in the blender while the bacon grease is still warm.
  2. Toss over salad and serve immediately.
